About our organization
Our organization was founded in 2008 by an addict in
recovery as a way to provide new, much-needed
services to the families, friends, and loved ones of addicts
and alcoholics. These may be the people who until now
have quietly suffered in the background of an active
addiction, or these may be the people who are actively
looking for help for someone who may or may not want
it for themselves. Sometimes it is the family who waits
hopefully, patiently for their loved one to try over and
over again to get well.
We offer opportunities for families, friends, and loved ones to become actively
involved in learning how to not only help themselves, but also learn what real help
they can offer their loved one. As a family-focused addiction recovery service, we
remain focused on the sickness of addiction that runs throughout the family dynamic
and can eventually deconstruct relationships and valuable support networks. By
bringing this new information to families, we have been able to give hope when
hope may seem lost.
Renewed Hope Project is structured as a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization and
provides services throughout the eastern United States. Our staff and Board of
Directors are active members of our local community and continue to expand our
service area through outreach efforts designed to build awareness of the
opportunities now available to the families, friends, and others who may feel that
there is no way to get help.
